AIPHS JV Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams Place First in Raiders Regional Meet; Eye BACSAC Championships

Although the AIPHS Cross Country Teams endured a long layoff due to the cancellation of their previous league meet as a result of the North Bay Fires, the JV Boys and Girls Cross Country teams were able to shake off the dust with first place finishes in their 3-mile race at the Raiders Regional Meet at the Alameda Shoreline Park.

Although the AIPHS Lady Eagles and Richmond Cal Prep Volleyball Teams both entered tonight’s season finale with guaranteed spots in the BACSAC Division B playoffs, with a victory over RCP, the Lady Eagles could earn the #3 seed and enter the playoffs with a three-game winning streak.

With Richmond Cal Prep’s (5-3) win over Silver Oak (5-7) on Wednesday night to earn the 3rd playoff spot in the BACSAC Division B playoffs, the AIPHS Girls Volleyball team entered Thursday night's matchup against the #1 ranked Bay Tech (10-1) in a must-win scenario to earn the fourth and final playoff spot.

After a break in action due to the ongoing North Bay Fires, the AIPHS Lady Eagles Volleyball Team vied for a much needed win for the shot of landing the fourth and final spot in the BACSAC Division B playoffs.  But instead, the Lady Eagles were greeted with the surprise of a lifetime by becoming the first team to participate in an athletic event on Bushrod Recreation Center's newly renovated basketball/volleyball court, courtesy of Two-Time NBA Champion, Two-Time NBA MVP, and current Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry.
