(KANSAS CITY, Mo) AIPHS Lady Eagles Soccer player Paola Barron has been named the Spring United Soccer Coaches/MaxPreps High School State Player of the week for the state of California, for her on-field performances during the week of April 9-15.
During the April 9th-15th period, Lady Eagles senior Paola Barron scored an outstanding eight goals and two assists in conference victories over Richmond Cal Prep and Oakland International High School. Additionally, according to MaxPreps.com, Paola currently ranks #4 in the state of California for goals scored (13) during the spring soccer season. For Paola’s efforts, she will receive a MaxPreps/United Soccer Coaches branded letterman's patch and recognition on both MaxPreps.com and unitedsoccercoaches.org.
For athletes to be considered for spring statewide athlete of the week honors, the United Soccer Coaches compiles statistics by MaxPreps.com to select one boy and one girl honoree from each participating state during the spring high school sports season.
