The AIMS Athletics Department would like to congratulate Senior Ubadi Egeonu on being named as the CIF-Oakland Section Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year! For his accomplishment, Ubadi will receive an award, a certificate, and a $1500 scholarship. Ubadi will be attending Stanford University in the fall.
This award marks the third CIF award that AIMS HS students have received this academic school year. In addition to being named as the CIF-Oakland Section Male Scholar-Athlete of the year, Ubadi received statewide recognition in April as the CIF-State Spirit of Sport Winter Male Athlete of the Year and received a $2500 scholarship. Additionally, AIMS HS Senior Nadia Barron was recognized as the CIF-Oakland Section Winter Spirit of Sport award winner and will receive a $1000 scholarship.
